Online PTS
The PTS system is a parcel tracking system utilised by FNB Card and FNB’s Direct Sales Centre. PTS is a secure web based system that provides visibility on the complete courier delivery life cycle. Visibility is given via web based reports with drill down capability as well as detail search functionality. The system data is sourced from all relevant parties in the supply chain process on an automated basis. Access to the information is controlled by predefined user groups and user profiles.
Online CMS
CMS is a web based courier management system that enables a courier company to effectively manage the complete parcel delivery process from collection of the parcels, scheduling an appointment with the customer to delivering the parcel to that customer.
The system includes the following modules:
- Scanning application – Scanning and validation of items into locations and tracking their physical position.
- Call Centre application – Scheduling delivery appointments and managing and updating the delivery instruction information.
- Electronic Proof of Delivery application – Mobile application that allow the user to collect an electronic POD and send it back to the system real-time.
- Mobile Manager – Application that manages the allocation of deliveries to drivers and provides real-time visibility on the delivery progress.
- Admin – Administration of the system, the users and the data.
- Reporting – Detail Web based reporting on the call centre process and the Delivery process.
The single biggest advantage of the CMS system is the ability to feed all the status and location information on a real-time basis back to the courier depot and via an existing software interface back to the PTS system.
Mobile E-POD
The mobile electronic proof of delivery solution is developed to run on any mobile device running Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0 with GSM, GPRS & GPS capability. The E-POD solution ensures that the user has accurate & up to date information with him to carry out the delivery task professionally. It also enables the user to collect valuable information on the delivery process which includes:
- Time taken to deliver parcel
- Exact time of delivery
- Electronic signature
- Electronic images
- GPS coordinates
- Check list
- Customer satisfaction report
Mobile Job Tracker
Also developed for the Windows mobile platforms, this solution was designed for tracking the progress and the time it takes to carry out service, maintenance & repair jobs on site. It also collects other valuable information regarding the job, e.g. Travel time, Distance travelled, Electronic images etc. The user also has the ability to send messages that will be delivered to predefined e-mail addresses.
Manufacturing & warehouse management solution
The Hawkstone manufacturing & warehouse management solution is a windows based client server application for Microsoft Windows XP & Vista and is running on the latest Microsoft SQL Server database platform. The main functionality of the system is:
